The Joint Faculty of Intensive Care Medicine of Ireland expresses deep concern and distress at the escalating violence in conflict zones, as well as the attacks on healthcare workers and facilities, the delays in the provision of basic aid and supplies, and the suffering of innocent civilians. As a community of compassionate healthcare professionals, we strongly support all efforts to bring about peaceful solutions to current international conflicts and to end the death, injury and displacement of vulnerable individuals.
